GOLF is on the verge of being killed off unless Generation Z can be convinced it isn’t boring, experts warn.

They say it needs to be re-branded as a trendy activity that can deliver the same thrills as six-a-side football youth favourite Baller League.

The warning comes from retailer America Golf, after its survey showed more than a fifth of young folk claim they're not interested in golf because the sport is too dull.
