Shop worker receives £46k damages after being crushed by cage trolley

AN East Yorkshire woman has secured thousands of pounds in compensation after she was crushed by a heavy roll cage.
The convenience shop worker sustained three breaks to her pelvis, damage to her arm and head injuries when the 7ft-high, caged trolley loaded with alcohol and soft drinks, toppled on to her.
She could not handle its weight when it crushed her on the side of a busy road. The woman, who wants to remain anonymous, has received £46,000 in damages following the incident.
