Eight-year-old boy 'recovering well' from surgery after horror dog attack

AN eight-year-old boy is back at home and “recovering well” after hours of surgery following a dog attack.

Weston Kiesler underwent hours of reconstructive surgery for injuries to his face and arm, after the incident in Goole on Sunday, May 11. His mum, Vicky, said: “Weston was in a lot of pain when he first got back home but he's getting a lot better, he’s recovering well.

“They were amazing at the hospital. He went to Leeds General Infirmary as they are more specialist in paediatric trauma.

“He came home on Monday, they were happy with him after his surgery and they discharged him. We need to keep giving him antibiotics and regular pain relief.
