CENTRE NOTIFIES APPOINTMENT OF NEW MANIPUR HC CHIEF JUSTICE

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday notified the appointment of Justice D Krishnakumar, a judge of Madras High Court, as the next chief justice of the Manipur High Court.
-
The announcement came just a day after the Supreme Court collegium recommended his elevation.
Justice Krishnakumar will assume office following the retirement of Justice Siddharth Mridul on November 21, 2024, as confirmed by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on X.
