Burari: 5 Yrs On, FIR Against 5 in Suicide Death of Class 12 Student

More than four years after a 17-year-old government school student died by suicide at her home in north Delhi's Burari, allegedly after being harassed by her classmates and friends, the Delhi Police have lodged an FIR against five of her friends following a city court's directive.

NEW DELHI:
The court order, issued on April 26, directed police to investigate the matter and register a case. Following a preliminary inquiry, the five accused have now been booked for abetment to suicide and common intention under relevant sections of the law, police said.
