DGGI busts ₹150 cr input tax credit scam in Dhanbad

THIS IS THE THIRD SUCH RAID BY THE JAMSHEDPUR REGIONAL BUREAU, WHICH HAS COVERED ENTIRE JHARKHAND IN THE PAST 15 DAYS, BUSTING GST SCAMS WORTH OVER ₹400 CRORE AND LEADING TO A TAX LOSS OF OVER ₹100 CRORE
JAMSHEDPUR: The Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) Jamshedpur regional bureau unearthed a GST input tax credit scam of over ₹150 crore in Dhanbad during raids at eight locations of six companies since Friday, people close to the development said on Saturday.
This is the third such raid by the Jamshedpur regional bureau, which has covered the entire Jharkhand in the past 15 days, busting GST scams worth over ₹400 crore and leading to a tax loss of over ₹100 crore.
