Seeking action against Congress legislator Shwetta Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday alleged that the Bokaro MLA holds two Permanent Account Numbers (PANs) and four voter cards, which is a violation of the statutes.

RANCHI:

A delegation of senior BJP leaders, including former Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, called on Governor Santosh Gangwar at Raj Bhawan and submitted a memorandum seeking legal action against the Congress legislator.

Besides the multiple cards, the BJP also alleged that the Bokaro legislator concealed facts in her election affidavit related to her dues to a government entity.

In their complaint, the BJP delegation provided details of the two PAN cards and four voter cards that Singh allegedly possesses.
