JAIPUR: Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed immense pride as Jaipur gears up to host the Silver Jubilee edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, the first time the prestigious event will take place in Rajasthan.

Addressing media, Sharma emphasized that the event represents more than just an awards ceremony — it signals the global expansion of Indian cinema and culture.

He further highlighted that hosting IIFA will firmly position Rajasthan as a global destination for film shoots, destination weddings, live events, and will open new opportunities for concert tourism.

"IIFA is not just an awards ceremony but a symbol of the global expansion of Indian cinema and culture, which will help Rajasthan gain a new identity in the international film and entertainment industry. This is the first time the prestigious IIFA Awards are being held in Rajasthan," said Sharma.
