Jaishankar likely to visit Russia for SCO meeting on Nov 17

EAM holds talks with Rubio, Anand onsidelines of G7 NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a series of bilateral meetings on the margins of the G7 foreign minis- ters’ meet, headlined by meetings with US Secre- tary of State, and the host for the event, Canada’s minister of for- eign affairs Anita Anand.
External affairs minister S Jaishankar is expected to visit Russia next week to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and for bilateral discussions aimed at preparing for Russian President Vladimir Putin's trip to India next month, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.
