Meesho files confidential IPO papers to raise ₹4,250 crore

E-commerce firm Meesho Pvt. Ltd has filed a confidential draft prospectus with the markets regulator for an initial public offering (IPO) to raise as muchas ₹4,250 crore in primary capital, according toa person in the know.
The Bengaluru-based company received shareholders’ approval last week for its IPO and a change in the designation of Meesho co-founder and chief executive Vidit Aatrey as chairman and managing director.
Meesho declined to comment on Mint’s queries.
