Life Term to Mother, Son for Beheading Pregnant Widow in Aurangabad

A man and his mother were sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday by the 7th Additional District and Sessions Judge of Aurangabad, Nishit Dayal, for the brutal murder of a pregnant widow.
AURANGABAD:
The accused, Kaushal Kumar Das (40) and his mother Chandramani Devi, residents of Sohalpura village under the Goh police station area, were found guilty of killing and beheading Nilam Devi (37) on the night of June 21, 2022, additional public prosecutor Satyendra Kumar Singh said.
Nilam Devi, a resident of Charkawan village under Rafiganj police station, had lost her husband in 2016.
She later entered into a relationship with Kaushal Kumar, her distant relative.
She had an elder daughter who was married and three daughters aged 11, 10, and 8 when she became involved with Kaushal Kumar.
