ECI Said It Would Redress Certain Technical Issues Such As The Small Font Size Used In The 2003 Electoral Rolls

- Anirban Guha Roy

PATNA: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is taking steps to make it easier for Bihar voters to search their names in the 2003 electoral rolls, which were uploaded on the poll watchdog's website a day ago, and redress certain technical issues such as font size used in the rolls, senior officials in the state election department said on Tuesday.

The development comes amid concerns raised by voters in the poll-bound state that searching their names in the 2003 electoral rolls was a tedious process, citing various issues, especially the change in booths following rationalisation of polling stations over the last two decades.
