The probe against Ansal API has not made any headway even a month-and-a-half after an FIR was lodged against the developer by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

- HT Correspondent

LUCKNOW:

The LDA, Ansal API, and the UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) have failed to provide relevant documents related to the Ansal API matter to the police, an official said.

The LDA had lodged an FIR at the Vibhuti Khand police station on March 4 against Ansal API in a multi-crore land case.

"Probe against the developer has not moved ahead as the LDA, Ansal API, and UP RERA have not submitted the required documents despite letters sent by the police on March 17," a senior police official said.

"We have sent letters to LDA, Ansal API, and UP RERA asking them to submit relevant documents and the layout of the scheme," the official added.

According to the official, LDA has handed over some papers but failed to provide the crucial layout related to the extension of the scheme.
