Over 5 lakh sites in UP ready, 52.43 crore saplings prepared

All offices, institutions will dedicate half a day to plantation activities beginning 6 am under which 37 crore saplings will be planted at 5,89,705 sites, the state government said in a press statement.
On Tuesday, the 37 crore saplings to be planted on July 9 reached sites across the state. The plantation target is two crore more than previous year. The Plantation Mega Drive-2025 will be formally launched by the chief minister from Ayodhya and Azamgarh.
