Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state on the law and order issue.
LUCKNOW:
Referring to a firing incident in Lucknow on Sunday, he said people were not safe even in the state capital.
In a statement, he said: "Criminals are openly firing bullets. They are committing murders. Criminals have no fear of the law. Due to the wrong policies of the BJP government, Uttar Pradesh has become a crime state. The BJP government's claim of zero tolerance on law and order has become zero."
