MP'S RENEWABLE ENERGY CAPACITY TOUCHES 9,508 MW

Guided by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the installed renewable energy capacity in the state has reached 9,508 MW.
-
It has increased nearly 20-fold in the last 10 years, with wind energy contributing 35 MW, solar energy 5,781 MW, biomass 155 MW, and small hydropower projects contributing 100 MW.
To fully harness the potential, Madhya Pradesh has introduced a forward-looking framework -such as the Madhya Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Policy-2025, Madhya Pradesh Pumped Hydro Project Implementation Plan-2025 and Madhya Pradesh Biomass Project Implementation Plan-2025.
