The bodies of an aunt and her teenage nephew were found under suspicious circumstances on Thursday evening in the Krishna Mrig area on Mahuli hill, under the jurisdiction of Kheeri police station.
Police reached the scene upon receiving information and sent the bodies for postmortem examination.
On Friday afternoon, the postmortem report confirmed that both individuals had died due to the consumption of a poisonous substance. However, police have preserved the viscera samples and sent them to a forensic laboratory for further analysis. No written complaint has been submitted by the family so far.
