Heavy rainfall forecast for eastern distts: IMD

After a three-day gap, monsoon has resumed in Rajasthan on Saturday and heavy rainfall has been predicted in Eastern districts of the state, said officials.
“A depression system has formed over East India on Saturday throughout the North West Jharkhand and its surrounding area due to which there is a strong possibility of it moving in western direction in the next 24 hours. Due to its effect, heavy to very heavy rains have already occurred at some places in eastern Rajasthan in the last 24 hours,” said Jaipur IMD office in an official statement.
