Cops Crack Murder Mystery in 48 Hours

GORAKHPUR: An airline baggage tag attached to a brown suitcase led Deoria police to solve a murder case within 48 hours of discovering a body in a wheat field. The suitcase contained the body of 32-year-old Naushad Ahmad, a resident of Bhatsuli village, who had returned from Dubai just 10 days before his death.
The suitcase was spotted on Sunday morning by a local farmer, Jitendra Giri, in Pakri Chapar village under Tarkulwa Police Station limits. Upon receiving a call on the emergency number 112, police reached the scene and opened the bag to find the body of an unidentified man dressed in a black T-shirt and brown jeans, with visible injuries on his face and head.
