An active Western Disturbance brought along light rain in certain parts of the city on Saturday, bringing some relief from the prevailing warm weather.
CHANDIGARH: An active Western Disturbance brought along light rain in certain parts of the city on Saturday, bringing some relief from the prevailing warm weather.
However, the sun soon reappeared, causing the maximum temperature to shoot up from Friday's 24.4°C to 28.7°C, six degrees above normal. The minimum temperature also rose from 10.4°C to 12°C, one degree above normal.
Hereon, cloudy weather is likely over the weekend, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
