The family members of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria on Saturday held a protest at the Batala bypass near the Amritsar-Pathankot national highway by keeping the body of the gangster's mother on the road, a day after she was shot dead allegedly by a rival gang.
CHANDIGARH:
Police said multiple teams were formed to probe the case and CCTV footage were being scanned to identify and nab the assailants who opened fire on Bhagwanpuria's mother Harjit Kaur (52) and another person accompanying her on Thursday night.
