4th HC judge recuses from contempt case

Uttarakhand high court judge justice Alok Kumar Verma has recused himself from hearing a contempt petition filed by IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi against Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) members and its registry for "wilful disobedience" of its stay order.

Justice Verma is the fourth judge of the high court to recuse themselves from hearing Chaturvedi's case. In his order passed on Thursday, the judge said, "List before another bench." The
