SC Defers Verdict on BSY's Plea Against Revival of Graft Case

The Supreme Court on Monday deferred its judgment on initiation of prosecution against former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa in a land denotification case as it referred the matter to a larger bench where a similar legal issue is pending consideration.
NEW DELHI:
A bench of justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra passed the order directing Yeddyurappa's petition to be heard along with a set of petitions referred to as "Manju Surana v Sunil Arora" case. The court requested the registry to place these matters before the Chief Justice of India for passing appropriate orders in this regard.
