BJP seeks NIA probe into murder of Suhas Shetty

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) urged Karnataka governor Thawar Chand Gehlot to launch a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the murder of right-wing activist Suhas Shetty, alleging lapses and political bias in the current state-led investigation.
BENGALURU:
A delegation led by state president and MLA B Y Vijayendra submitted a four-page memorandum to the governor on Thursday.
Other senior leaders, including leader of opposition in assembly R Ashoka, leader of opposition in legislative council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, and party MLAs from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, were part of the delegation.
