UAE likely to receive more rain today: NCM

Light to moderate rain fell on Saturday in various areas in the Northern Emirates, due to an eastern surface low-pressure system, a western surface high-pressure system, and an upper-air high-pressure extension, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM reported cumulus cloud formation with rainfall and active winds with speeds up to 40 km/h in eastern and northern regions, stirring dust and sandstorms.
Rains also fell in Khor Fakkan, Al Rafisah Dam/ Wadi Shie, Wadi Al-Hilo, Al Suhub Rest Area, Shees-Al-Nadwa road in Dubai, Al-Nahwah, Al-Madam in Sharjah, and Mirbah, Qidfa/Al-Qarya, and Al-Hayl in Fujairah.
