Abdullah, Shahbaz explore ways to boost ties

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on Monday with Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in Islamabad.

The meeting was also attended by General Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan.
Held as part of Sheikh Abdullah's working visit to Pakistan, the meeting focused on exploring ways to strengthen cooperation, building on the deep-rooted and strategic relations between the two nations.
The discussions also reviewed the outcomes of the recent official visit by His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, to Pakistan in February, and the significant role it played in deepening collaboration between the two countries across several strategic sectors.
