Bodour given University of Leicester professorship

Honorary title hails work on empowering women, child literacy and culture

Shaikha Bodour Al Qasimi, President and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of American University of Sharjah (AUS), has been conferred the title of Honorary Professor by the University of Leicester.

The university's first such honorary professorship recognises Shaikha Bodour's contributions to women's empowerment, child literacy and cultural development regionally and globally.
