Ensuring Future-Ready Workforce Key to IFSC's Expansion
FINANCE MINISTER NIRMALA Sitharaman on Thursday called upon financial sector regulators to take more steps to aid GIFT International Financial Services Centre (GIFT City) at Gandhinagar in Gujarat to fulfill its mandate of attracting robust capital inflows into the country.
She stressed on the need to make GIFT IFSC competitive and cost-effective to attract HNI investments into the country, and mobilise sovereign and pension funds.
