SIP inflow tops ₹28,000 cr in July

FLOWS INTO SYSTEMATIC investment plans (SIPs) hit a fresh high for the fourth consecutive month in July, touching ₹28,464 crore, with 91.1 million accounts contributing to it, data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (Amfi) on Monday showed. Overall, inflows into equity schemes touched a record of ₹42,702 crore, up 81% month on month.
At ₹15.19 lakh crore, SIP assets under management (AUM) was 19.7% of ₹77 lakh-crore average AUM of the industry for July.
