'Navy in full form, would have split Pak into four'
DEFENCE MINISTER RAJNATH Singh said Friday if Pakistan is serious about talks it should hand over 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar to India "so that justice is served". This is the first time a senior minister has spelt out conditions for Pakistan to seek a dialogue with India post Operation Sindoor. Addressing officers and sailors onboard aircraft carrier INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa, Singh said, "It would be in Pakistan's interest to uproot the nursery of terrorism, that is operating on its soil, with its own hands. And it should start by handing over terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India. Both are not only in India's list of 'Most Wanted Terrorists', they are also UN-designated terrorists."
"Tahawwur Rana, an accused in the Mumbai attacks, has been brought to India recently. Hafiz Saeed is guilty of the Mumbai attacks. We have still not forgotten, justice has to be done and, I believe, someday justice will be done. This cannot happen in Pakistan", he added.
