WITH UNUSUALLY HIGH imports of soyabean oil via Nepal this year, the domestic edible oil industry has urged the government to restrict shipments by fixing a monthly quota to curb the flow of cheap cooking oils.

Mehta said that imported oils are selling at least 10-15% below the prices offered by domestic processors.
