Spencer's Retail forays into q-comm with JIFFY

• In Q3FY25, firm narrowed its net loss to ₹47.34 cr
SPENCER'S RETAIL, the retail arm of the RP Sanjiv Goenka group, entered the quick commerce sector with JIFFY, its new online platform, on Thursday, starting with Kolkata. The service will soon expand to other regions of West Bengal, followed by Uttar Pradesh.
The retailer, currently, operates 89 stores across West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
Shashwat Goenka, chairman of Spencer's Retail, said that the company aimed to fulfil orders within 20-30 minutes by leveraging its existing stores.
