Burmans to infuse ₹750 cr in Religare

RELIGARE ENTERPRISES ON Friday said its board has approved a proposal to raise ₹1,500 crore through the preferential allotment of warrants to support the company's business expansion plans and drive new strategic initiatives.
Of this amount, entities linked to the Burman family, owners of Dabur, will contribute ₹750 crore, accounting for 50% of the total fundraise, while the remaining amount will be infused by The Hindustan Times, investors Ashish Dhawan, JM Financial Credit Solutions and others.
