Couple narrowly lose appeal over house at livery business

A couple refused permission to build a home next to their specialist horse business have lost their appeal.

Carrie McDonald and her partner Greig Baynham established Congalton Garden Stables in East Lothian in 2018 and specialise in caring for ill and elderly horses. They say that without being able to live on the site they cannot expand the business.
