CONFIDENT EVALYN CALLED 999 FOR HELP
AN eight-year-old girl has been given a bravery award after she called 999 when her mum suffered a seizure at their home near Skegness.
Evalyn Palmer, of Wainfleet, sprang into action on Monday, February 24, when her mum Lynette collapsed due to a non-epileptic seizure. Her one-year-old sister Elena-Monroe was also there, and Evalyn calmly called 999 and provided vital information to emergency medical advisor Sam Priestley.
He said: "Evalyn did brilliantly on the phone. She stayed calm, answered all my questions clearly, and helped us get the right help to her mum as quickly as possible."
Specialist practitioner Katie Best was dispatched to the scene and shared that Evalyn was very helpful.
