Freddie O'Donaghue hopes Saturday's goal is the "first of many" for Queen of the South.
The teenager, who is on loan at Palmerston from Carlisle United, scored what proved to be the winner as Queens beat Rangers B 2-1 in the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Afterwards, he told club media: “As a forward you want to get off the mark as quickly as possible.
“I've had my time to settle in so hopefully that’s the first of many.
“All the players have been brilliant with me since I came in.
“The gaffer and staff have all been excellent and helped me settle in and now it's time for me personally to kick on.
