Classic car and lorry enthusiasts were in motoring heaven at a much-enjoyed Dumfriesshire gathering on Sunday.
-
The 27th annual car show was held in Queensberry Square, Sanquhar, attracting more than 120 cars, lorries, vans and motor homes.
There were also more than 25 motorcycles from Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Dumfriesshire, the Borders and Lake District.
The popular event - which started in 1998, the year of Sanquhar 400 - is thanks to the hard work of Norman and Betty Burns and Michelle Weir, assisted in the town hall by Heather Anderson, Kelly Hubbard and Frances Watts.
Norman - whom we are grateful to for the photographs - said: "The Royal Burgh takes pride in giving a lunch to everyone who enters the event, hot filled roll, Walkers mince pies, cold meat, salad rolls, biscuits and ginger bread.
