New Dover store included in Lidl's £500m growth plans

DISCOUNT supermarket chain Lidl has announced it will be opening branches in four Kent towns by April next year, including another store in Dover.

The company announced a £500 million expansion investment which will include 40 new stores across the country in the current financial year.
In its 2025 brochure for sites, Dover, Faversham, Maidstone, and Tunbridge Wells were all named as "potential locations."
A large Lidl store in Honeywood Parkway, Whitfield, opened in 2017.
