ALL GOODS ARE LOCAL AND SOURCED FROM ANIMALS ON-SITE OR FROM NEARBY FARMS

A LONGSTANDING Derbyshire farm that houses a tea room and a farm shop has lifted the lid on the secrets that make it so popular among locals and travellers.
The Prince family first moved to Highfield House Farm in the remote village of Stonedge, near Chesterfield, back in 1986 with a pair of Kerry blue terriers, some farming knowledge, and a dream to make it work.
Some four decades down the line, the Prince family still remains at the helm - but they've adapted to the modern world, now offering far more than just your average farm.
In 1996, they opened their farm shop onsite, which was expanded in 2004 after a grant, which saw the small shop transformed into a larger business with fulland part-time staff from the local area.
In the shop, you'll find Texel, Beltex and Charmoise sheep, all of which are grown onsite. In fact, the shop says its females are among the top five per cent in the country for muscularity and growth rate.
