MOEEN ALI says England must smarten up their act if they are to defend their T20 crown next summer.

Jos Buttler's side have twice been outmuscled by the West Indies and are staring down the barrel in the third of the fivematch series tonight.

But rather than trying to match Rovman Powell's side six for six, Moeen says England must engage their brains at key moments.

And, according to the experienced all-rounder, that means eliminating rash shots and rotating better against spin.

Moeen said: "We need to grab those moments and recognise those moments straight away.
