Ruben patience being sorely tested by the continuous failings of United hierarchy

- JEREMY CROSS

FAITH NO MORIM

MANCHESTER UNITED have plenty of problems to solve on the pitch this summer but nothing much seems to be happening.

The club's new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe came in to turn the United ship around but it is seemingly headed for deeper waters.

A summer of discontent is unfolding at Old Trafford that is leaving manager Ruben Amorim hot under the collar.

But it's not surprising that Amorim’s blood is starting to boil.

Because the lack of incomings at United so far is comparable to the lack of outgoings.

And the combination of the two is a stark reflection of just how bad things at this footballing institution have now become.

A club which has a - in my opinion laughable - plan to win the title in 2028, but cannot sign the talent to help them do it.

A club which has a player in Bryan Mbeumo, who is desperate to sign for them, but cannot get the deal over the line.
