CHRIS EUBANK JR was at a sleepover when he realised he was destined to forever be linked to the Benns.

Eubank Jr: We could have Benn friends

He was just 14 months old when his dad, Chris Sr, beat Nigel Benn to become middleweight world champion in 1990, and only four when the bitter rivals fought to a draw in their rematch at Old Trafford.

Now, more than three decades on, a Eubank will face a Benn for the third time when Chris Jr takes on Conor next month.

But if acrimony dominates the build-up, Eubank Jr's understanding that he was born into both a dynasty and a family feud arrived in a far more innocent setting.
