Kev backs old side to repeat Parkhead win

KEVIN TWADDLE bagged the solitary goal as Motherwell secured a rare win at Celtic Park 27 years ago.

The Steelmen have enjoyed just two league victories at the home of the Hoops since that strike in October 1999.

But Twaddle reckons Jens Berthel Askou's side will go there on Saturday with confidence they can return to Lanarkshire with all three points to continue their phenomenal season.

Well head to the east end of Glasgow in fourth spot - just five points behind second-placed Celtic - and looking to get back on track after losing 2-1 at Dundee.

And while Twaddle knows teams were on a hiding to nothing making the trip in years gone by, he believes times have changed and Well’s impressive, eye-catching attacking style can get them a win.
