Family 'proud' of schoolboy Joe's legacy
A SCOTS schoolboy nominated for sainthood after his death is being linked to a serious of medical "miracles".
Joe Wilson, from Carfin, Lanarkshire, is on the path to becoming Scotland's first saint of the millennium, with his cause for canonisation now passed to the Vatican.
But before the teen, who died suddenly undiagnosed heart condition in 2011, can achieve universal veneration the Church must be convinced he is responsible for two miracles.
