Should I meet old uni pal who now wants romance?

I’M a woman in my mid-30s and recently met up with an old university friend visiting from America.

We were part of a group of mates, all studying the same thing, and we were very close for a couple of years.

We had a kiss once and a bit of a drunken fumble, but I was actually interested in his older brother and I did end up dating him for a while.

When I saw this guy again recently, he blew by mind by confessing I'd totally broken his heart when I dated his brother.

Apparently, he was crazy about me in uni, but never had the guts to tell me because he thought I was out of his league.

After the drunken fumble, I just moved on, thinking nothing more of it.
