Our caring son will be forever missed by everyone

A YOUNG paddleboarder I who died at the weekend has been named as 15-yearold Alexander McNab.

Schoolboy Alexander was reported missing at Loch Ore in Lochore Meadows near Lochgelly, Fife, on Saturday afternoon.

Searches were launched at 5.25pm and continued into Sunday when, at 1.20pm, the body was found.

The devastated family released a statement through Police Scotland, in memory of their "much-loved son".

They said: "Alexander was much loved, caring, adventurous, bold, hardworking, ambitious and always looking out and caring for others.

"He is a much-loved son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend and boyfriend and a big part of his local community.

"Alexander will be forever missed by those that knew him and loved him.
