Couple may stage hunger strike to prove innocence
THE British couple jailed in Iran over spying allegations say they are willing to suffer to prove their innocence after they were yesterday sentenced to 10 years behind bars.
Lindsay and Craig Foreman have already spent 400 days in a hellhole prison amid repeated efforts from the UK to get them released.
Lindsay said: "We have so few tools at our disposal, we have no voice: all we can do is write letters and go on hunger strike.
"We need to exercise our right to be heard by their legal system - to say what you're doing is unfair and unjust - and we are prepared to suffer ourselves to make that understood."
