In 2021, a community enterprise called Menter Ty'n Llan was set up to buy, renovate and reopen the site with a £400,000 target.

‘This was backed by hundreds in the local area and Welsh actor Rhys Ifans also offered his support.

It proved a success, with the funds raised, and it reopened later in 2021.

But this year, ithas undergone a massive renovation with the bar revamped and new rooms and a restaurant added.

‘The bar opened over the summer with the restaurant and rooms to follow this month.
