The plan has been put forward by the Davies-Cooke family, on land which has been part of the Gwysaney Estate in Flintshire for centuries.
They say Parc Gwysaney Luxury Lodge Park has the potential to put the region on the map for UK staycations, while driving spending and investment in the local area.
The proposal would include up to 75 high-quality lodges, and a visitor centre containing a tearoom, visitor reception and a small shop.
The site for the proposed park is Tyddyn Uchaf Farm, on Raikes Lane, Sychdyn, just outside Mold.
They are currently in the process of seeking feedback ahead of planning submission.
