'Obsessed' man 'breastfed' from woman to 'get at his mother'

A MAN in his 30s became “obsessed” with a 60-year-old woman and “breastfed” from her as a “way of getting back at his mother”.

- By DAVID POWELL

Michael Jones, 32, contacted the woman even though he was banned from seeing her, a court heard yesterday.

Jones had previously assaulted the 60-year-old woman and been prohibited from contacting her when he saw her three times this summer, including “breastfeeding” from her. That put him in breach of a restraining order.

A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court jailed him for a total of 15 months. The court heard Jones had pleaded guilty to wounding the woman causing grievous bodily harm without intent.

In June he was duly given a 16-month jail term, suspended for 18 months for that offence. However, the court heard Jones, of Glan Cadnant, Caernarfon, met the same woman three times in July.

Prosecutor Amy Edwards said the woman saw Jones on a cycle path in Caernarfon. He looked “tired” so she left him a bottle of water.

They messaged each other on Facebook afterwards and met in a park in Caernarfon at night in July.
